GoalOpen to anyone who is interested in Bio-Robotics research (Bachelors, Masters, Phds, Postdocs, and others). A casual and informal atmosphere tailored to you.The main goal of this network is to bring together the young researchers in the vicinity of Zurich in order to increase momentum and quality of Bio-Robotics research. In particular, we would like to provide opportunities for young researchers to present crazy research topics, to practice presentations, to know what your neighbors are doing (in research that is!), and to ask (basic) questions that you cannot really ask in formal conferences. This network also serves as a platform to attract additional young students (e.g. Bachelors and Masters) joining the research community in the near future.Discussion TopicsWe organize an event/talk every month, one or two informal talks given by local students and scientists.A cross-section of robotics and biology: including but not limited to topics related to Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Control engineering, Computer science, Artificial intelligence, Biomechanics, Neuroscience, Cognitive science, Psychology, Philosophy...Subscription to Mailing List and QuestionsAnnouncement are via homepage and mailing list. If you would like to sign up to our mailing list just send an email subject "bironz signup" containing your full name and email address to the organizers on this link right here. You can also use the same link to ask any questions about the network or make suggestions***Please do not send weird email addresses***Event Organizers and AffiliationsBogdan Vigaru - Rehabilitation Engineering Lab (RELab); Nandan Maheshwari - Bio-Inspired Robotics Lab (BIRL) ; Derek Leach - Bio-Inspired Robotics Lab (BIRL) & Matej Hoffmann - Artificial Intelligence Lab (AILab) |
